Nine beautiful country gardens showing their best after standing the test of fire and drought. Visit us, meet the gardeners, enjoy our gardens and a lovely relaxing weekend in the country
Only 2 hours from central Melbourne and easily accessible via the Hume Highway. The Alexandra District is famous for its gently rolling hills, river valleys and the landmark Cathedral Mountain.
Join local gardeners and garden enthusiasts for a delicious dinner at Stonelea Country Estate. Guest speaker this year is Andrew Laidlaw. However, its not all serious gardening, we also have games, quizzes and other ways for you to show off!

Profits from the Alexandra and District Open Gardens are donated to local community groups. Since the programme's inception more than $100,000 has been distributed to groups as diverse as the CFA, the Alexandra Hospital and the Alexandra Brass Band.
