Alexandra and District Open Gardens
27-28 October, 2012
Only 2 hours from
central Melbourne
and easily accessible
via the Hume
Highway. The
Alexandra District is
famous for its gently
rolling hills, river
valleys and the
landmark Cathedral
Mountain.
Use this map as a
guide to the location
of this year's open
gardens.
The Alexandra and District Open Gardens, in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Alexandr Inc.
Set aside the weekend
of October 27-28 for a
weekend break in the
beautiful hill country of
the Alexandra District.
Two years of above
average rainfall have
resulted in the lushest
gardens for many years.
Fourteen enthusiastic
gardeners will open to
the public on the annual
open gardens weekend.
All profits from the
weekend will be
dedicated to projects
that benefit the local
community.
